So,this just happened : did a battle less than one minute ago. Both TFP's ship and FOTP's ship failed, again,at getting target lock. Then the opponent's TFP ship hit my TFP ship, one shot, almost zero health, then Biggs hit it with its basic and it was gone,In 20 seconds i lost 3 ships : Vader's ship,FOTP's ship and TFP's ship.15 seconds later i was left with only one ship and i only made 2-3 attacks. How is that even possible? What the hell happened to TFP's ship evading like crazy?!I had to forfeit again (this happened a lot in the last days due to the fact that all of my ships were destroyed in less than a minute).
Are you fighting a capital ship that gives offense bonus to the ships that hit you? Some can hit quite hard. At least they will hit significantly harder than yours.
Well 99% of all fleet arena teams in "top 200" use the Chimaera and the rest Tarkin's Executrix.I refuse to believe that my capital ship (Tarkin at G 12 with both zetas on him) is to blame for being weak or something like that.
Well, YOU are the one who mentioned, that the enemy hits you hard in the beginning of a battle — not I. Believe whatever you want but here are som facts:
1. Empire ships like imperial tie, tie advanced and tie reaper gain 15% crit chance and 50% crit damage under Chimaera lead. Other ships gain 25% crit dmg. and 15% crit chance. The have a chance of hitting VERY hard off the bat.
2. Chimaera has a chance to remove 20% TM from all your ships in her opening move — a first move that hits all your ships quite hard.
3. When facing an enemy tie reaper if one of your ships is finished off early, your capital ship may loose TM delaying her first move.
4. Empire ships gain bonus TM whenever they attack a target locked enemy (if Tie Advanced is among them).
5. FO Tie Fighter gains 16.5% TM whenever a TL'ed enemy takes damage. Coupled with the above mention TM manipulation it may take two turns quite quickly early in the battle — and it hits hard.
This can all happen while your Executrix just sits and watches. Yes, you can recover from a hard hit in round 1, but you will be trailing from the start.
