Meh, they are META because they're trendy, not because they're better. The only one of those ships that I run is Slave 1. He's my last reinforcement, and I'll be taking him out soon.

I've been taking 1st every day for 10-11 months running republic ships. There is no one ship that's better than any other, all there is are fleets that have synergy or fleets that don't.

Anyone that says different just doesn't know any better.

I respect your point of view, and I have no knowledge of Windu and republic fleet, nor have I run them in arena. I use Tarkin fleet, and at least I can say that Tarkin does good against much high powered fleets. My personal experience is, on top of my shard, my fleet has been always the lowest one in terms of power, since the shard started. But I do very well and I also take 1st everyday. That's why I think Tarkin is efficient. Boba, Vader, Maul synergizes very well with Tarkin fleet as well.
Not saying Tarkin is the best, but it worked very well for me

Slave 1 and TIE Advanced are probably the best single pilot ships in the game. TIE Fighter is excellent as well.

You don't really get to choose which to farm. When they show up, you get them.

Farm both. They come rare enough that you just snag them when they come available.

Both are great dark side ships. They're both rare, start buying them both.
As for the best ships. Dark Side reigns supreme.

Light side can still win on offense, but they typically drop like a rock, unless they're so much further ahead than the rest of the shard.

None of that is true, it's about synergy between your ships. There are no best ships.

Again, I've been taking 1st with a light side fleet for 10-11 months. I have had a period where I didn't fall out of 1st place for 3 days straight.

Dark side ships are a trend, not a phenomenon.

Lol farm rare rebel ships too far chimera event.

I can’t remember the last time I used Slave I’s AoE attack. The battle is over (one way or another) before that cooldown is ready.
