I. I’m not sure that the auto-taunt is an enormous leg up, as stormtrooper’s taunt cooldown is 4 and he taunts for 3 turns

3. This is interesting. One of my main concerns is damage in the heroic sith raid, and I do need to do some research to find out if the health regen and crit immunity on shore trumps the expose and defense buffs on stormtrooper.
4. I’m not sure of this either, Stormtrooper stacks a huge amount of defense.
5. Never considered this but it’s a good point, I’ll look into the ship.

Honestly, both are very good investments at this point in the game. Farm both. They're not mutually exclusive, farm Storm up to 7* and gear him, and farm Shore slowly with the hard node that also gives the Tie Reaper. It's a long farm and eventually you're probably going to buy some Shore shards in shipments, but you don't need to do that right now. Having them both in a team makes for a very very solid duo-tank taunt spam that can be very frustrating to get past.
