Suddenly worthless in arena

After unlocking revan this last time I’ve managed to do pretty well in arena, averaging around spot 100 sometimes as low as 30. Yesterday I woke up to find I was 350. Used my five arena tries and lost every single match, and by a huge difference than I used to. (Used to win without losing a toon, now can’t kill a single toon). Spend crystals to refresh and try different opponents, making it 6 different teams I fought against, and every single time I was effortlessly tossed aside by the AI. I checked and double checked my team, nothing has changed mod wise. Today I had the same thing, not a single win. Something changed with the game and now I don’t even feel like playing anymore. I grinder revan so I can get arena rewards and now it’s worthless.

    You attack TVF, you attack all of his alternates. You’ve made a grave mistake.

    But also, like, everyone here who’s not complaining has no life, I mean for real man, if you have time to follow TVF’s story, then you’re pretty sad too...

    Cynicism doesn’t have a place here. I made this post to vent frustration and try to find possible solutions. That being said, I lost a few more times before finally breaking past an opponent then for some reason everyone 200-300 was a breeze again. I don’t know why the hump was in the 300s but there it is. Ring seems a little too unlikely given the 12/13 matches I lost but I am ftp so we all know ea rigs the game against us (kidding.) anyway here is the squad I’ve been working with. Standard jkr squad

    And now we see your problem. A DR event just ended not long ago. Unless your JKR team is god modded (and even then...) you will get pushed down by all the new DR teams just getting their zetas and gear. Plus the Grievous teams finishing up due to the Geo TB and all the Padme teams. JKR is a target now and unless your speeds are near the 300s, you will drop. And have issues climbing.

    There may be fe qss T6wer people active, but it is a good measure of the expected GP and teams. You can expect everyone to be no more than one meta removed.


    But it's all relative since you only compete against ppl who started at the same time, so that argument is completely irrelevant. What is relevant is that there is far less competition.

    Aren’t there 20k in a shard? How many people would have to have quit for an old shard to become easier than a newer one? It’s possible a new shard could have 50-100 whales I guess, but...


    There's about 4k left in my shard, so I'd say that makes a big difference.

    how do you know how many are left?


    Sometimes an ally will put in a a single lvl 1 toon, and by seeing how far they drop, you can tell how many ppl still actively participate in the arena. So in 3 yrs my shard went from 20k to about 4k.
