- As someone who runs droids in arena, anti-droid synergy has a place right now. The top 20 on my server is almost all variations of the 47 (L) team with JE.
- They do have a use right now but it is a very small nich in arena, other than that it's not like you run into a lot of all droid teams in GW and in arena it's here and there depends on shard. no droid teams in my shard at all. I'm just saying it will be nice for anti-droid synergy to have a real home and I think it will be this new raid being released. I'm just excited because I can justify investing in jawas with more of a reason than I feel like it.
- Bombapolooza!
Nebit is a rock star! Just omega'd his taunt rest of skills at lv 7 and he is almost 5* scavenger close behind. Jawa basic definitely needs to be omega'd. I haven't even unlocked data yet (I think he is a waste) but the other 4 are freaking awesome! - The only complaint I have about Jawas... they look too damn similar. Please EA give each Jawa some kind of unique feature so we can tell them apart.
With that out of the way, what do you guys think of Jawa Scavanger? I've started farming every Jawa except him (trying to max HRS first) - I know this thread is primarily about jawas, but is there any consensus yet on who the best non-jawa characters are to accompany jawas? I've heard a lot about Nute and Leia, which makes a lot of sense, and also about droids, though no specific ones. Are there particular droids that go better with jawas than others? IG-88 seems the best to me, but since I don't use droids I wouldn't really know.
Anyone have any thoughts on using Ima Gun Di or Eeth Koth, or Ugnaught in a jawa squad? They all seem like they would be good in the new raid, I also agree that characters like Nute and Greedo go well with Scavenger. Ugnaught seems like he could hold his own no matter who he's paired with as long as it's against droids.
Depending on when they release the new raid, I'm envisioning my initial raid build to be at least the following:
7* G9 Level 80 Dathcha
7* G8 Level 80 Jawa
7* G8 Level 80 Ima Gun Di
7* G8 Level 80 Jedi Healer (Lumi, Barriss, or JC) at first, but ultimately JE once he's ready.
?? Not sure about the last spot at first, but ultimately Nebit (Lead).
The build above is based on a raid release in 2 weeks or more, but who knows what the timeline will be, so of course the actual build may vary initially. JE and Nebit will get in there as soon as they're ready, and Scavenger may or may not replace Ima Gun Di, depending on how they each do in the raid, but my ultimate goal is at least 4 or maybe even 5 jawas.
Going to depend a lot on game mechanics too, of course, but I feel pretty confident that Jawas and other anti-droid toons will be the meta for the new raid. TM control, the ability to do lots of critical damage, and stealth will also be important, though it doesn't really mean much for me to say this since these things are usually pretty good and it's all just speculation anyways.
All of this, of course, means that I can't farm any mods at all right now, at least until I can get Jawa finished in about a week or so. What I really need right now is credits, anyways... :^P - I unlocked Je last night for a full jawa team. I am thinking these little guys are seriously underrated. I stuck a few mods on 4 of them, (sorry Je credit crunch) focusing on crit damage for jawa and dathcha. Dathcha at L 63, 6*,gl 8 can crut for just under 10k, with jawa not to far behind at L 63, 5* gl 8, heck even scavenger was hitting for over 5k. With Je give a speed boost you don't need to focus on getting speed mods for these little guys. Pile on any mods that increase damage and you have a little wrecking crew.
On a side note after the mod fiasco the jawa challenge kept me intrested in the game because jawas are so fun to play. - Think this will be best order to use abilities in a full Jawa team
1.JE using is TM and Crit chance up skill
Now it's random whoever will go next cause everyone will have full TM.
2. Jawa and Datcha both uses their AoE
3. This is tricky but I think I will be wisest to use Chief Nebit's assist ability first cause most of the enemies will probably be stunned or ability blocked ATM cause of Jawa n Datcha which means enemy team can't deal much damage and all Jawas will most likely survive. Then he can taunt on second turn to reduce cooldowns.
4. Jawa scavenger will just use basic
Thoughts? - Follow up our Droid topic about TM ranking after JE. It is not totally random you can manipulate the Order.
I have found, that for Droids use Nebit's Taunt first is the best idea, for Jawas this means one less CD for both AoEs (which are critical to control the battle) and JE TM+Crit push which means more turns, Action for the team etc.
But maybe Jawas at Arena will work different so testing will tell is how Nebit perfom with the rest of the Gang. "DFAC_guild;581998" wrote:
What's the general consensus on mods for jawas.
I've just started leveling and starring but not sure how to plan out my mods yet.
I'm thinking something like this:
Chief Nebit = Speed, Tenacity, Health
Datcha = Potency, Crit damage, Health
Jawa = Crit damage, Potency, Health
Jawa Engineer = Potency, Speed, Health
Jawa Scavenger = Potency X2, Health"MD_Geist;581903" wrote:
