If you can't zeta Savage don't play him, he's horrible without zeta. Savage is either great (with zeta) or terribad (no zeta), there's no in-between here.
Unless you can zeta Dooku and probably Sidious, I would not recommend using Nihilus lead. From what I've seen it also helps to have GK for a cleanse, taunt, and crit protection.
My zSO has a CD and Health set on him. Get his protection and health up, put a CD primary on the triangle, speed arrow. He doesn't need to be that fast because he gets TM when hit and people usually leave him for last.
