The really early Dengar Team discussion..

Definitely a rebel + scoundrel lead team. It depends a lot on his speed and turn order who to pair him with, I think. But Lando/Dengar/Phasma/AA sounds like an AoE nightmare with tons of TM boost to me. Stick in STH for taunt and more turn meter, or Leia, maybe even Greedo if you need dps, and you have one hell of a line up.

Would love to see 86/88 get the scoundrel tag too, would make so many offensive possibilities!

I'm for sure going for Lando (L) - Dengar - Ackbar - Phasma - STH as soon as Dengar becomes available.

Remembering Magmatrooper, the real question now is: where is he going to show up? I have a feeling it will be Cantina Shipments which would kinda suck.

In thinking Nute (L), Teebo, Leia, Dengar and Old Ben would be an interesting setup

True. But it'd require some luck getting Dengar to stealth. Other than that, interesting tactics.

I hope he's more viable than the last one introduced in the monthly reward which was Magmatrooper. And yes where we he be available after this month? GW would be the easiest to get him.

If Dengar is anywhere but GW, then it's proof that EA has no love for their F2P base.

That said, I believe Dengar will make characters like Cad Bane (guaranteed crit x2 doubletap O.o) and Lando (Guaranteed basic crit to get crit up, AA Tactical Genius, Double AoE) some powerful teammates. If not for Arenas, at least they'll make for some powerful GW destroyers. I personally like the idea of either Lando Leader with a Rebel/Scoundrel hybrid team (Cad, AA, ST Han, DPS) or Phasma Leader with Dengar, Lando, AA, and ST Han.

Other characters that have synergy with Dengar: Hoth Rebel Scout (with Lando Lead), Nute Gunray (stealth synergy), Boba Fett (50% increase crit damage could make for some incredible assist damage), and Greedo (Double tap on Assist)

Well I'm not a whale by any means and I'd prefer him to be in the arena. I have all the characters I want from there but am still working on 1-2 in GW.....

IG-88 lead (omega lead for DOTs and increased crit chance)
Dengar
Greedo (Scoundrel to get called for assists)
Lando (another Scoundrel for assists and AOE to generate more DOTs)
Vader (because of all the DOTs) or STH (to protect the group and TM manipulation)

Scoundrel team: Lando, Nute, Greedo, Chewie, Dengar
