The Rise of ROLO

Now that everyone seems to be using Palp lead empire teams, has anyone seen any ROLO leads popping up on their leaderboards? None yet on mine, but I figure that changes in the next week or two.

It seems like the obvious paper to the Palp/Vader rock.
  • ROLO is not much of an Empire counter outside of LSTB. I built an anti-Empire ROLO team to use in TW, ROLO, Hoth brothers, Wiggs, it didn't work. Thrawn don't care, and Shore is still there and you can't do anything about it. You could build a better arena team of course ... but then you should just skip ROLO altogether.
  • The tm gains from rolo would just speed up the bleed and ep passive damage as well as debuff expiry and tm gain for empire.

Tenacity up is the only solution for an easy win. Rex lead or chaze. Maybe jedi make a comeback with master yoda, lol.

I think you're right, though, empire is popping up everywhere. We all have them, and if you dont have cls or jtr and dont want to spend money on ns, palp lead can beat every team.

Cls and jtr struggle against ns, and empire is tricky too, ... unless you have chaze.
  • I just use cls, han, thrawn, chaze. Same team i use for NS.
Titans can handle them too, but why take a risk.

I like the tm from rolo lead, but to lose 50% counter and 50% defense is really bad.

The other problem with rolo is yhat you're still stuck with the debuffs. Tenacity up is the way to go

Fair enough. I just feel like that tm speeds them up to the point that they're taking so many turns, that they'll stomp right through a Palp lead team. The added tenacity from her lead will be worthless, of course, because we all know that potency trumps it.

I could be mistaken, but I feel we'll see some as the Palp zetas keep spreading and dominating many leaderboards.
