When did he say he wasn't trying to convince them to build upon their existing teams ? Just because he is trying to show his guild a easy team that most of his guild has lying around , does not mean he is disparaging them from working on their best teams. You even said using your own words against you but what you did is a straw man fallacy and a slight bit of False dichotomy but I'm not 100%
Some guilds might struggle to fill the back or middle lines with a decent defense team and with the different screen shots if it takes 8 tries to kill it he's is kinda trying and testing it to be solid for the power and availability.
You talk about tremendous synergy , why do you think the team is working ? After the first 3-4 battles most people stop underestimating it and try and still loose 2 more times so something is synergizing.

Well it won more battles than the others in the screenshots, so hope is not needed the team held up multiple times.
Is it the best team no, is it the worst no, will it take time and money to use no ,will it win me more defense's than a dud team that we all see at the back and middle sometimes yes.
WILL THIS STOP PEOPLE WORKING ON THEIR PRIORITY SQUADS ...... NO.

Speaking of newer teams - I’m really digging this all droid team- ig-88 (L) L3 ,bb8, IPD , t3. There’s too many zetas to test but seems to be a synergy there.
