About Thrawn lead, indeed is good. But after running some tests on GW realized that the juicy part is 20% TM gain whenever get a debuff, and there lies the problem. Meta team is all about cleanse, so u won't get much debuff during the battle. Was cool when i faced a sith squad and vader landed 5 debuffs all my empire jumped 80% TM so sweet!
That's why i think against the current meta, Thrawn is better as support than leader.
The second juicy part is the protection heal. That would be very useful on ShT and RG. I've heard the zeta makes a huge difference on Thrawn tank squads as it appears that it would.
