Vader Speed?

In arena my Vader has +104 speed from a speed and health set. I faced the same exact team but their Vader had +105 speed. My opponent had random mods. His Vader went first. My confusion is you get 10% more speed with a complete speed set. So shouldn't I have gone first? Is this WAI? Both Vaders were maxed out.
