Well I wanted to share a status update. Went for zzVentress lead and I'm quite happy about it so far.
- zzAV Lead: cd/cc mods with offense on cross primary for additional damage and G12 Bayonet. c.180 speed
- zMT: Speed and Health mods, +116 speed
- Daka: Health x2, Potency x1 (have a +15 speed potency cross with health primary that I wanted to use), +100 speed
- GK: +90 speed, 2x Health, x1 Defense (had 2x defense but swapped one set for Health where I have more speed)
- Zombie: G9 (for speed gear), Speed and Health. 200 speed in total
I stayed in the top 10 overnight and the annoyance sharing my payout with a MT lead hasn't taken my position despite behind 4 places behind me atm. So fingers crossed it might be a tough team for MT leads.
I'm 11/20 for the next zeta. Heard that Zarriss could work well instead of GK but she needs tons of speed and a huge health pool to have a substantial impact when paired with the Sisters. I'm also considering putting a zeta on MT's lead since the CLS event is coming back and MT lead is annoying for CLS leads. In parallel I'm gearing up NS Acolyte - she needs tons of useless blue gears that I don't have anymore...
I heard mixed reviews from Daka's unique zeta. Does it really shine under Ventress lead?
It's not an annoyance at all for MT lead. I have run NS since release. I have had Asajj maxed out with dual zeta before MT was even released. She is a good lead in raids, actually probably one of the best leads for raids. However, in arena she is second to MT, I ran Asajj until I had my MT geared up enough to try in arena. I play on a day 1 server and I hold on defense far better than when I have Asajj in as leader. Asajj is still my favorite NS, but as leader in arena MT is without a doubt a much better lead.
I'd be interested to hear why you think so. Ventress leads hold better on my shards and the MT leads struggle to beat them. Now, I'm on a 1 year shard so less mature and with less competitive mods I guess too. Which team are you using, what's your speed sequence and which are your main opponents in arena? Rey struggles against both leads but probably MT more.
Why do I think so? Experience. All of my NS are gl12 with the exception of MT and nsz,and even though MT is gl11 6 star I still hold better with her. Speed all of mine are over 200 with most over 220. Main teams I face CLS variants with some baze malbus on them, some RJT. There are 4 ns teams on my shard one started with Asajj but quickly put an Mt lead in because he couldn't hold rank like the rest of us.
I don't think Mt is a better arena lead experience has proven it to me.
