True. I know plenty of long time players who are still clueless.
And thats okay.
Some people play this game for casual fun, some people play it full time as it was their 2nd life and some people try to train and compete in it like this was the olympics.
It's perfectly okay, until they come on the forums and pretend they know stuff, or complain about things they don't understand.
