Unless you recommend exclusively buying gear from guild store (not sure what low level gear is there, but definitely buy mk3 holo projectors when you can), you can farm someone there. Rex is a great option for all-round utility. Maul, Jawa Engineer, Rey and Jyn are great too, but more specialized.
