What chars will always be meta?
Someone like Nihilus for example will always be a valuable char to have in your team. Who else could always have a place in any meta?

Crits don't just go away (except for nihilus lead). Rex wasn't around that much in the beginning because he was behind a paywall. His lead has one of the best chances to be around for a long time, and his clease is one of the best in game. (Who doesn't love TM)
Metas will change, no one last forever. Support toons have the best chance, R2, GK probably do the most for mixed teams. Nihilus is a huge cannon, he is the rey of this time in the game.
