there are many factors at play. Without seeing what teams you're facing...I can't really give you a straight answer here. That being said, be sure to read each ability/ unique/ leadership before entering battle to have a full understanding as to what to expect.
ie, Rex gives 7.5% tm to non clone allies whenever someone has been critically hit
