maybe NOT true of arena, LS/DS battles. We cannot know, because we cannot retreat the same way as in GW, since the conditions will change (you'll have less energy).
Anyway, khufutaron point is true even if only applies to GW. Despite the outcome of the fight is calculated at the beginning of a fight (possibly) randombly, repetitions should also recalculate it, instead of repeating the same patter if no changes are present.
Other point: The long streaks of luck (either good or bad) are suspicious. Those streaks should have really low probability. A possible explanation is that the probability of a drop varies, increasing or decreasing within a time frame, but in the long run, the integration of the probability averages what is expected (1/3 for shards...). Just a thought.
