What the hell is going on with these level 50+ Phoenix teams in Squad Arena?

However, whenever I attack one of them, they attack my character with the ENTIRE SQUAD! WHAT THE HELL! 60+ Phoenix teams DON'T DO THIS! This has got to be hacks, right?
