I have two zMaul leads on my shard who take 1st at payout daily. The first zeta showed up about 2 months ago, and they have been able to beat the Rex leads consistently.
Their squads are:
zMaul, zSavage, Sith Assassin, Sith Trooper and DN
zMaul, Sith Trooper, Sith Assassin, DN and GK
These are both good setups for offense and defense. The damage output is still enough to beat Rex teams on offense 100% of the time.
The best toons are always a pain to farm haha. That second squad has only one 7* toon. The rest are 5* or lower. Just need to get gear levels and bettwr mods to stay competitive.
