Yeah, tried that and when it goes off, it's monstrous but it's VERY rare that you'll get to keep the buffs: They're usually bellowed into oblivion. It's not really worth the payoff either: 3 guns firing super-duper charged isn't as effective as 4 guns firing super charged.
I have more success running A and B droid teams:
A: HK, GG, 88, 100, JE
B: Poggle, Sun Fac, 86, B2 + whoever escapes from team A or Daka if no-one made it.
