- This thread is just full of contradictions then. I'm so confused So it seems meta toons are still overriding the zetas.
I wanted to Zeta Cody and swap out echo for Baze.
Now I think I want to Zeta QGJ and Swap out Ayla for Baze. What makes more sense?:
Cody(Zeta)-Rex-5s-Clone Sarge-baze
QGJ(Zeta)-Yoda-Ashoka-JKA-Baze
or combo in Baze and Chirrut for either team? "Silleck;816065" wrote:
I run QGj lead(zeta 280 speed) GK(275 speed) jka (260 speed), Ashoka (265 speed) and Aayla (240 speed, 68% crit chance, 60% potency) my shard says it's the most difficult team they have ever faced
GK makes the difference
ok but for us mere mortals who have no chance to get kenobi in the near future what are the options?- Shard friend zeta'd QGJ and regretted it.
I faced their Jedi team for the couple of days t before they dropped it and reverted to bounty hunters. Versus a team with Baze (I run him), the foresight buffs give Baze a TM head start, so he just aoe removes it and its back to open season. Didn't notice them hitting significantly harder TBH. Aalya was a tad more annoying than usual with her dancing around. I run a very fast Boba, so they all got ability blocked and then Palpy stunned the majority.
Personally I'm going Vader.. - This theory crafting but what if you Zeta QGJ and Yoda battle Mediation. You gain foresight from QGJ gets dispel then gain it again with Yoda. It all would depend on speeds and how many AOE dispelers they have.
- Zeta Chewie, he's OP

Question, did that QGJ zeta team had Kenobi or not? Because thats what makes the team...- A couple guys and I in the guild were theorycrafting and one of them came across it in the Cassian tournament and here's where we're at.
1. You need GK, period
2. Must have QGJ & Yoda's BM zeta'd
3. Must have good secondary speed, get everybody up around 200 before QGJ leader
Unless I misread somebody was comparing the offense gain from QGJ's zeta to JKA's leader? QGJ's offense bonus is 3x or 300%, JKA's is 30%, huge difference. "Darth_Jay77;816395" wrote:

JKA's leader is 30% of offense. QGJ gives 300% of speed. So 200 speed becomes 600 offense. Roughly translated, 600 offense is generally going to be around 25-30% of offense.- The team needs GK and also yoda zeta added to the team will help the team vs it's biggest counters.

It's actually not that much of a difference. For example say...
Jka phys dmg = 2313
Jka speed = 220
-Under jka leadership his offense would be
2313×0.3=693
693+2313= 3,006
- Under qgj leadership his offense would be
220×3=660
660+2313= 2973
- Now let's see how hard jka would hit with each of these new offense stats. Using his basic attack. His basic attack modifier is 1.905
1.) Jka lead
(Jka lead offense 3,006)*
(modifier 1.905)*
(jka lead crit dmg 1.7)
3,006*1.905 = 5,724 non-crit
5,724 × 1.7 = 9,730 with crit
2.) QGJ lead
(QGJ lead offense 2,973)*
(Modifier 1.905)*
(QGJ lead no extra crit dmg 1.5)
2,973*1.905 = 5,663 non-crit
5,663*1.5 = 8,494 with crit
Thanks for showing the math to prove my earlier point @ObviouslyNot !
The % gain depends on the speed an physical/special damage. As shown you are going to average 20-30%. For my Ahsoka to get 30% offense from QGJ lead she would need 300 speed.
@Darth_Jay77 the ability is offense gain of 3 time speed not 3 x offense. I wish it was 3x offense. It would be no question of zeta (can you say hello original mods)
