Why can’t I kill Kylo?

Yep same issue I had going against Nest with my CLS team. She never took a took a turn so her bonus protection never fell off.

Don't bother reading the kits or anything, sure.

Should I use a different team against him or change the kill order?

Attempt to kill him using Han's special, Chewie, and CLS switching stances (Call to Action). As long as you have CLS under guard, Chewie can quickly take care of him if he's modded well.

Han's shoulder shrug too, Chewie will assist and do some more big damage.

That’s what surprises me, all three were slamming him with hits. He never got a turn, so he never died. I just want an insurance policy for this because it’s happened twice already, and I don’t want to lose crucial points for it.

Kill regular Kylo 1st or 2nd. Then you can balance the big TMR hits on other characters while using the ones mentioned above to hit regular Kylo.

Nest is invincible against my CLS team.

With C3P0 in the team he'll be very difficult to kill nonetheless : C3 unique apply an expose on each hit so at least 5% health & protection regen from KRU lead.
And neither expose nor Chewie unique do any damage to him, plus Chewie apply tenacity down on each assis, so 5% regen more and CLS apply two debuffs so 10%.

I made the mistake once and finally killed him just on time. I never used them with C3 against KRU again.
It's like trying to use a Carth team against KRU :-D

Thank you so much for this explanation. This is what I was missing. Would you say it’s safe to go in without C3? Or go in without C3 and Chewie?

As just stated above, it is a very bad idea to bring a 3PO to a KRU fight, and I even leave r2 out of it. zKanan & Ezra actually fill out a CLS-Rebels v KRU very nicely.

Old Ben too. Mind tricks either ability blocks them all or grants you a ton of TM from the resists.
