Worth investing in old account?

Hey there! I started to love this game and the community, so i thought about asking you something and hope you can give me some personal awnser to the following thema! (:

For almost 2 years I play this game. I started shortly after episode 7, but quickly stopped playing (at about level 30). Now, many updates later, I'm back to play again but I have a pretty big problem now: Arena! Since I was classified with my former players, of course, my shard is now overwhelmingly far ahead. In fact, I can not even get further than rank ~ 3000. The opponents are just about twice the strength and at least 15 levels above me. Now my question: How much is it worth to invest in this account? Is Arena so important to progress as F2P (in this account)? Or can you have fun without a good arena - place and get ahead (maybe fleet arena is also good for dolphins)? Here is the link to my account: https://swgoh.gg/u/iifunkymonkey/

I have now created a second account, which is, of course, not so advanced. I've already invested a bit of money there (STH & CountD Starterpacks), and I'm planning on having more fun with this one and not just playing strictly for a guide (like making an empire team, buying Vader Shards, not strictly grinding for pheonix like i do on my first). This account is much better in the arena too, because most of the players are at my level! So what do you think?! Play Main - Account normally, but put the main focus (investing money) on Account 2 because I can get more out of Arena? Or isnt Arena really that big of a deal?! But my personal thought about arena is, with R2D2, CLS, Rey, and all the other 'special characters' that are very good for arena, i think arena is a big thema in this game, and the part where you can get the most out of it as a (mostly) f2p. What do you guys think?

(Btw, sorry for my bad english, but I hope you get what I mean!)
  • Doesn't look like you have anything worth keeping. I would just stick to the newest account, especially if you didn't spend money on the first.
  • Definitely switch. Start with phoenix and remember your new shard opens at level 28 so avoid long periods of time off once you start arena. Here is a spot on f2p guide that was just updated. I recently restarted and mapped out my grind schedule, when I saw this video I was amazed how similar it was to mine lol.

Well, for me the grind for the phoenix squad took alot time  But if you say it isnt worth to keep...okay!
