That must have been a nice surprise for you! Congratulations. This is working as intended, though I'm impressed by your honesty in making a report about it.

The maximum crystals that can be received from the daily prize box was increased from 100 to 250 in an update at the end of last month. They also added kyrotech to the rewards and a couple of other changes that can be found in the notes here: https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/212676/scheduled-update-8-28-2019
