3x Drops Announced as During 5/8 - 5/9, But Not Available on 5/9

The announcement in game this week stated 3x drops event would be during 5/8-5/9.  But, as I look at the game this morning on 5/9, I find that there are no 3x drops available.  I planned and invested my resources around taking advantage of this event for 5/9.  If the intention is for the event to only be available for one day, then clearly state the event is for the single day of 5/8.  The messaging should be clear and simple.
