Ally points and who gets them for borrow a hero

Hi everyone, 

I recently (before the new weekly store) decided to open up my ally slots to lower level / newer players so they could benefit from my toons.  I did this believing that I get ally points as well when they borrow one of my heroes.

This doesn't seem to be getting me any ally points.  That always used to be the case but I'm not sure if I missed a change to the game. 

Could folks (devs or players) confirm whether the person who's hero is borrowed gets anything for helping newer players or not?
