Android Oreo performance slowdown

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
Summarize your bug Significant performance slowdown: framerate drops to a fraction of the normal rate, application response time to taps and slides becomes inconsistent and slow, application takes a long time to exit to android home (but takes a short time to load back in).
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown. I have experienced this most often when having the application running in the background for a long time, putting the phone to sleep and using the phone for other, non-SWGOH related tasks, and then reopening the application after hours of inactivity

Problem:  Significant performance slowdown: framerate drops to a fraction of the normal rate, application response time to taps and slides becomes inconsistent and slow, application takes a long time to exit to android home (but takes a short time to load back in).

Reproduction steps:  Unknown. I have experienced this most often when having the application running in the background for a long time, putting the phone to sleep and using the phone for other, non-SWGOH related tasks, and then reopening the application after hours of inactivity

    Thank you for your report. Can you please try to reinstall the game and generally, when you are done playing completely close the application and then let us know if the issue remains? Thank you.

    I've updated my phone to Android 8.0 yesterday. The app has got huge performance slowdown, and it freezes / crashes every few minutes (I've sent you a few crash reports via the standard google play report sender).
  • P.s. And yes, I did reinstall the app, I always close it completely, I've rebooted my phone a few times after a freeze and crash of the game. Nothing helps.
    Did your qa test it under Android Oreo?
