Apple Gift Card Promotion

Hello, I had originally bought a gift card from target last Sunday but due to an error when checking out it was never activated properly, I was only able to take care of it and get another card yesterday but received no pop up in game regarding the promotion. I've seen others say that the promotion ended but according to the original post it was suppose to be active until the 27th of May, any help for this would be appreciated.
