Lost my EA account progress, no support response

Hi guys, let me share my EA Support experience. I was a SWGOH player for 6+ years. I had both Google Play and EA accounts on my Android device. Once I tried to transfer my progress to a new device, accidentally linked different game profile to an EA account. As a result, I lost an access to my old account. In order to access EA in-game help, I had to create a new game account linked to Google Play and EA with same email. Tried to reach out support in both ways: in-game help from Android app and web-chat from EA App PC client. Had two chats with online support, but they didn't help. Btw, no tickets were created after in-game post with detailed information about account such as Emails, EA data, PlayerId, etc. Right now 4 days without favorite game(

  • Made numerous attepts to reach ou in-game help. What was discovered: support team unable to recover you account for same platform (still curious about the reason). It means that team unable to recover Android progress on a new Android device, but possible to restore on iOS.  That's what I tried to do. I had to create brand new account on iOS device, complete tutorial, connect to GameCenter, reach out in-game help from iphone. Please notice that you will be requested to proof you purchases with receipt screenshot. Once old account was merged into new one, now you would be able to transfer old account progress back on Android via EAConnect. 

    As a result, I'm back in game after 31 days of support chatting. 🎉

  • Android in-game help:

    Day 1: left support request containing all the player/account data including EA account, Google play email, PlayerID, etc.

    Day 5: first response from support asking if account linked with any of Facebook, Google Play or GameCenter.

    Day 7: Second reply containing "how to restore mobile lost progress article" which I tried before and got no success.

    By the way, there were no any in-game incoming messages about "support team replied" as described in help article from help.ea.com. So you need to open Help menu every time to check for any replies.
