Are the Galaxy S7s no longer supported?

Game says I need the new client. This is what i get when I attempt to update the client on my S7 from Verizon.

    Hi @Darkhorse911

    Were you logged in with an account while playing?


    If so I'd recommend trying a full reinstall of the game to see if that will allow you to download it.

    Had the same problem.  Tried rebooting the phone, reinstalling the game, but they didn't really work.  Reinstallation worked only until closing the game and then I'd have to do it all over again.  Saw an old post regarding someone who had this problem on an iPhone and it had to do with not connecting with the game network or something.  It occurred to me that the same issue could be happening here.  I opened the Play Games app and launched SWGoH from within it.  Loaded up perfectly.

    This is only a temporary fix and requires reinstallation every time you want to play.  Not a workable solution.
