Audio issue persists for TuneIn and Chrome

What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? Moto.G Power (2020)

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug Audio from TuneIn and Chrome gets paused when switching to SWGOH, both when launching the game and when the game is already fully launched. Attempting to restart playback using the pulldown Android menu just results the playback being paused again (usually immediately, but sometimes it will successfully play back for a few seconds if I do it during the splash screen before it pauses again). Note that I selected "wifi" only because I couldn't select "both", it happens regardless.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play any audio in Chrome or TuneIn, then open the game. Audio will be paused, and will re-pause if you attempt to start the other app's audio back up.

    We have now raised this to the team for further investigation after yesterdays update.

  • @acymetric Not sure why it is putting the details in there twice, tried to remove the duplicate by editing without any success (preview only showed one paragraph when I submitted...)

    This has been a reported issue for at least 6 months. I am concerned that it is ONLY NOW being raised to the team for further investigation. 

    It is not on the trello board and it greatly affects my ability to play the game to the point where my in-game time has cratered. I feel like that is a metric that is tracked and is a concern.

    Actually if you read the update notes they said they fixed it haha, yet they fixed absolutely nothing.........maybe in 3 more months they'll fix it.

    @letters3437 They have known about it. They even posted about it when it initially happened. The "We have now raised this.. ." or "Our team is aware and working on a fix very soon" are just general generic responses support gives. I've raised the issue with both in and out of game support for the last 6 months. It just boils down to the fact it's a minor issue that doesn't affect players in a large enough way to hurt them financially so they just don't care or it would have been fixed already.
  • @acymetric , as an FYI, you can un-toggle the "approved solution" if you don't believe that answer solved your problem.
