Bought the CK chase past but shards got used by LST

I just bought the 5$ Cal Kestis chase pack to use the shipment LSTs to get Merrin, Tarfful, and Cere to 7. When I used the LST to get them to 6, it used the shards I have, so I only have 50 instead of the 100 to get them to 7. When you use an LST, it says it gets them up to 6, and doesn't say anything about using any current shards you have. Had I known this I would've used the tokens first, but now I feel like I've wasted my money in buying the pack only to not be able to get them to 7*. Can anything be done about this?
