This comes up quite a bit and it's due to the turn order indicator being an indicator not a locked order. The calculation on who goes next happens after each turn , so if your Levi's are both next to each other in the indicator they are probably on equally tm and the coin flip to determine who goes next happens after the ship before both of them turn ends. Thus it looks like your will go next , but in fact the coin flip has not happened and when it does the enemy goes first.

That is possible, but then what is the point of the turn order indicator if it literally dose not function?
Btw - this is happening every day. Way more often in the enemy’s favor than mine. Waaaay more often. Would be nice if CG could at least acknowledge this.

It's kind of a catch 22 as it has to show one before the other (although it has been suggested if there is a tied tm there could be an indicator like them being side by side , or a border etc). They can't do the coin flip until right before as it's a turn based game that process one turn at a time etc and something may happen to change the order. It was not part of the original game so kind of treat it as better than nothing, and definitely if you see your and the enemy Levi back to back in the tm order expect the unexpected.

Understood but in the Levi match that coin flip as I understand it happens when the ships load in (assuming both DRs have full 6dot mods) because the requirement is already r9 so there can be no speed difference between the capital ships.
If thats right how can there be a subsequent coin flip during the fight because once one is ahead the first ability you use with the Levi locks in the TM advantage and dagger stops the other ship being able to catch back up is my understanding of the changes they made? My example is a recording of a levi "jumping the queue" 2 mins into a battle in progress which is why I think its a mistake as my reading of the kits means this should not be possible but if I'm wrong thats fine I just don't understand how I could be based on kits I can see?

Post the vid or if not comfortable dm me it. It sounds like it shouldn't happen but without seeing the context before it's hard to know. Did they have the tie reaper in reinforcements and it gets destroyed by chance ? You can lose tm , and tie reaper removes tm when it or one of it's allies are destroyed.

The video is of the switch happening I wasn't recording the entire battle so you won't get the context you are looking for.
No they didn't reinforce with Tie Reaper - they brought out Sith fighter which was destroyed on being called as hangers had been sabotaged which is normal as CG didn't adjust the priority of reinforcement so assuming they are present Sith Fighter and then Mark VI would be called you'd need to go very deep into a fight to the point that the battle would most likely be over before the AI would call Tie Reaper even if its as option in the fleet you are fighting.
CG need to pick this up this is I know what I'm seeing day in and day out in my fleet climbs not every battle but a couple a day
