Cannot purchase Episode Pass

I'm unable to buy the newest Episode Pass or Episode Pass+ while playing on PC. I click on the option to buy it, the loading circle pops up, but then I never get the option to finalise anything. Nothing else appears, and I can't exit back to the menu, I have to forcibly close it. I've tried repairing the game, reinstalling it, turning off my antivirus in case it was blocking the app popup to finalise the purchase, I've tried just waiting, for hours, to see if it would work, but it never progresses, and nothing else ever appears. 

I installed it on my mobile device, and I the option to finalise appears, but I want the tiny discount I get using the EA app on PC.
