Cannot start the game anymore - stays in downloading files forever

good morning

I had the problem already after the last update, where it hung during download for days. It now worked for a while without any problem but It started 2 days ago that the game did not pass the "loading cantina" stage again immediately before the new event started. I've tried several times (with wlan and without), I've deleted and reinstalled. Till that time I always stay in the downloading files section in the beginning. Is there any way to fix it? 

I run it on IOS

    I have tried everything that I can find on the internet.  EA Games needs to fix this.

    Without notice it works again. Let us see, with the next game change maybe we stay in the same mode again ...

    Who knows… I read one other post of having quite the same issue. But there was also. no answer.

    It still does not work, is it only us 2 having that problem? It is now closely 1 week that it does not work. I wonder if the forums are ever read by an engineer of the game ...

    Same here. I have the same problem as you. Tried WiFi and mobile, also deleted and reinstalled but it doesn’t get any further than the loading screen….

    if anyone can help it would be great!!
