Can't buy packs in the SWGOH Store in the game

Summarize your bug I face troubles when buying packs in the game. It was working correctly some days ago, but now I face the Store Error. It comes the message that my credit card needs to be authorized by the bank, the SWGOH app is trying to connect, but fails and the transaction is cancelled. It happens all the time. My credit card data are valid, I also contacted the bank for checking issues, but according to them it is not connected to bank as the credit card issuer (and 3D secure is on as well). And, what is important, through Apple Pay the same credit card works with no problems and I can pay for goods in shops. So must be a SWGOH internal error somewhere. It looks like CG message to me is: stop spending money on that game :-) So, it is upon you to find the solution, programmers. Just to stop any simple solutions: I have checked all issues connected with settings & payments. As I said - I can buy goods with the same card in my phone, but not packs in SWGOH anymore.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don't know. Maybe be smart and check everything :-)

Looks like the app tries to connect with the bank for confirming the card which is already confirmed and has been used many times for SWGOH transactions

    Thanks for the report. All your payments are going through Apple. Have you reached out to Apple support for your payment issue?

    it is not Apple, because I have 2 accounts - the other is Android, and there is the same issue

    Do you receive a specific error code?
    Have you contacted your bank, Google or Apple support?

    The message was: Store Error informing that transaction cannot be proceeded. I have contacted my bank, but the credit card is OK and they can't see any issues with it. While doing transaction there is also a message that "some transactions needs to be authorized by banks according to European law" but my bank said that this cannot be required as the card already has 3-D secure feat active. So this is not the bank issue. As I wrote to you - Apple Pay also works on the same phone, so there is no issue that iOS blocks use of my card.

    I’m getting similar. It’s taking me to the next screen and either saying “you’re all set! Your purchase was complete” but the game has crashed because I was on another screen, has to reload, and the content is not there. Or it says it failed.

    I’ve attached a picture of it saying “you’re all set!” With the game crashed. “Purchase successful” but nowhere to be seen.

    @philipofish I have 8(!!!!) transactions coming out when I’ve purchased 4 things. I don’t want to be charged twice for the same thing because I tried again due to the issues. I just want the things I wanted to buy!
  • I see that you are not interested in solving the problem. SWGOH purchases in the game usually dont work despite all card information is correct and Apple Pay transactions work correctly. Your problem actually - people will save more money in wallets...
