Can't press certain buttons and am therefore locked out from playing

During battles, I continuously get a help message that I can tap the little icons above characters to view what the buff/debuff is. But when I tap, it does nothing and the message keeps appearing. In addition, I'm now unable to play the game since I'm currently getting a tutorial on how ships work. The game therefore forces me to push certain buttons, which don't work. I can't inspect the ship the game wants me to inspect and because it is a tutorial, I can't press any other buttons. What am I supposed to do? I can't even see my ally code or anything. If I don't get a way to fix this, I'll have to uninstall
