Can't reach R0 with 5-star / EP plus investment

CG,BLUF: When leveling all marquee characters to 5-star, the Rotta the Hutt rewards are insufficient to progress marquee characters from Era 110 to Era 115 (i.e. R0) without investing additional $$.&nbsp; This is NOT how it was for the previous two eras, and...I'm upset for having spent this money thinking I was going to get something only to learn the rug has...yet again, been pulled from under our feet.Since you never actually tell us what to expect, we are all left with what I would call "unspoken expectations."&nbsp; The problem with unspoken expectations, is that you can say...oh well, we never SAID we were going to do that, and can escape accountability.&nbsp; But given that you never actually SAY ANYTHING about what we are supposed to expect, we are only ever left with unspoken expectations based on your prior actions, and what it seems like you're doing now.&nbsp; It's always up to us to fill in the blanks and try and make purchasing decisions based on datamines, speculation, and historical patterns.&nbsp; The community tends to work together and reach conclusions about what we will get based on what we spend, and decisions are made, money is spent, and expectations are created (whether you ever said them or not).So let me say what I think the unspoken expectations were coming into this era, based on what you actually DID for the previous two eras and also what you DID for the first episode pass plus of this era.If we were to purchase episode pass+ throughout the era, we would be able to achieve the following:5 stars on all marquee characters with no crystal investmentThrough normal colliseum progression, we would be able to reach Era110 (formerly Era 70) on all marquee characters (this was possible the last 2 eras no problem).We would then be able to complete the first two tiers of the Rotta the Hutt legendary event which would give us enough Mk7 Aurek/Masterwork to be able to progress all 6 Marquee from Era110 to Era115 (R0 level).&nbsp; This was possible the previous two eras for both Spider Maul and Cassian Undercover (Era70 to Era75 for those two eras, but the same idea...all 6 marquee at R0)Note that, it doesn't really matter whether you do the pass+ or just crystal to 5 stars, but I would list the "get 5-stars with no crystals" as a new unspoken expectation for pass+ that you recently created (which is actually great because pass+ was pointless before).Here's the math on it, see attached picture.&nbsp; The 5 star event for both Spider Maul and also Cassian Undercover awarded:6700 Mk 7 Aurek and 330 Mk 7 Masterwork.&nbsp;It takes 750 Aurek and 50 Masterwork to take a character from E70 to E75 (R0) in previous eras.This was enough to level 6 characters from E70 to E75So if you could pick 6 of the 7 from marquee/legendary to get to R0.&nbsp; If you wanted the 7th you had to purchase 1 pack of each or just do that one character later.There was no other way to obtain Aurek and Masterwork other than to purchase them, the Mk6 era mats was the highest "F2P" tier, or more accurately the highest you could achieve without actually purchasing mats through coliseum progression.Comparing to Rotta the Hutt rewards, we receive ZERO Mk7 Aurek/masterwork, which means...there is no way to level ANY marquee beyond E110 in this era without purchasing Mk7 mats.Getting 5 Kyber and R0 on the new marquees is a STRONG INCENTIVE for us to buy the EP plus during the era, or buy the EP and crystal up to 5 stars.&nbsp; Taking one of these things away at the last minute without notice is a real gut punch.&nbsp; Skipping G12 progression is an enormous incentive for us...but lacking that, why ever buy the episode pass+ or crystal these guys up to 5 stars ever again?&nbsp; I don't think 3 Kyber tokens alone are enough incentive to spend ~30k crystals or ~$60, so we will just all be at 4 star EP only or not even that going forward.Easy to fix...just put the 6700 Mk7 Aurek and 330 Mk7 Masterwork as rewards back into the 5-star Rotta tier.

Yeah. I've just been running off a naively hopeful assumption that there's something else coming that we don't know about that will make up the difference. It was already completely ridiculous that people would spend enough to get to 7 stars and still have to drop an additional 200-ish plus to get enough era levels for the 7 star legendary. Now we don't even get that far before having to spend, and the prices on the mark 6 packs are just silly. I had decided after the first era to just ride them out without spending after putting so much in and ending up with a 6 star Octomaul, not wanting to drop an additional 3 new games worth of money to get one more star on one character. I went against my best judgement, and decided to try again this era, since it could have raid and/or GL implications. I know they don't really care, but if they truly did move the goalposts even further, and expect us to actually spend even more, I for one, am done with this nonsense.

I'll never understand the whole, "why are people are spending less?? I guess we need to increase prices to make up for it. That'll solve the problem." mentality. I'm no business/corporate expert at all, but I can't really think of anything that seems more shortsighted...

After the "fix" today...there is STILL no way to get from E110 to E115, as there was in previous eras, using the materials for Rotta 5-star tier unless these materials are in either the episode pass or the marquee rewards for Grogu or Stromtrooper.

The elephant in the room is, you don't even get 5 star character after spending 20 USD or 22 EUR, only saving grace is little bit of R8 and R9 mats on the episode pass, absolutely atrocious value, it's barely worth 10 USD. Players that purchase episode pass plus should be full characters unlock 7 stars, ether one of the passes we purchase it still needs to be done 3 times which makes it way worst cos we are speeding 60 USD or 66 EUR for episode pass to get characters only 4 stars (hello?!) for episode pass plus 120 USD or 180 EUR for 4 star characters, borderline extortion. i will not be purchasing episode pass for the next era at all, I don't care to get characters 4 stars and wait 3-4 months to farm up the rest so I can use them. Let make the deal even worst, no purple mats on the episode pass after spending real money and you think there is value in your digital goods? What value CG? I can't believe you put up with this, as a community, this is so bad, open your eyes.&nbsp;
