solo journey battle

I am having the exact same issue and I also have all of the requirements checked. Battle button green, but does nothing when I tap it. I feel like theres something simple here Im overlooking but can't figure it out. Did you figure it out?

So I get a thumbs up but no response? I mean, come on....does that mean you're glad Im having the problem!? Lol! I need a solution, not a thumbs up...hahaha... I still haven't figured out why it won't let me battle when everything is checked off the list and the battle button is green.
