Capital Ship Upgrades Admiral Ackbar Crash and Rewards

After attempting to use the in game help function they directed me towards the forum as they could not do anything there.

Two days ago I completed the Tier 4 of the above challenge and immediately following completion a message popped up that there was an error and the game needed to be restarted. I followed the instruction and restarted the app. I went to check if I received my rewards and as you'll see in one of the attached pictures, I did not. I then went to see if I was able to re-attempt the Tier 4 challenge and it is now locked with only the Tier 5 challenge being available. Initially the in game Help function team told me that the rewards would be in my inbox after 24 hours, which did not happen. I then followed up and was informed that there was nothing they could do to help in this situation. 

Unfortunately, I do not know of any other way to get the required shards for the "Home One" capital ship and because of this error I am unable to carry on any further in this event because I do not have the missing prerequisite shards I should have gotten from the completion of the challenge. Is there anything that can be done to help in this situation?
