Connection Error

Hello, this morning I was able to log in fine left home went to the office and ever since I keep getting the dreaded "Connection Error" message. 

Android - Galaxy s23 Ultra

Ive restarted multiple times (after each attempted fix), uninstalled swgoh and reinstalled, cleared cache and data in play services, Google play and swgoh. I've turned wifi on and off. Basically ive done all of the steps that have worked in the past. Anything I've missed that I should try? Thanks! 

  • Usually these issues sort themselves within a day. I would call your service provider and ask them if they are experiencing any disruptions in their networking.

    Sometimes all you can do is wait. Doing the whole reinstall with cache and data only helps if it was a bad update. Network issues can be fixed by using a different network or connecting a different way like with a vpn.

  • Any help would be appreciated. Im a guild leader so 49 others are depending on me to log in. I spend way too much money on this game and just as a new episode comes out, I can't log in. Point being, its a horrible feeling to have so much money tied up and people depending on me while I have no control over the situation. 

  • It appears others are having connection issues starting yesterday. For mine, ive found it works when im able to connect through wifi but as soon as im on cellular data, it won't connect. I've verified i have connect by wifi and/or mobile data. I've set it to prefer mobile data, turned off wifi and set it back but it still only connects via wifi. I'll be heading out for 5 days with no wifi so this really sucks. Help?? Thanks

  • Ok thank you, ill try switching to another network and back to see if that helps. Since all other apps I've used function as normal, I figured maybe an update triggered something within my game or how the game connects. Crossing fingers its resolved soon.
