Conquest sector 2 feat to use Alert isn't incrementing

I added Night Trooper to my GLeia team and used his ability for Alert. I saw the Alert symbol over his head, and he assisted when special abilities were used, but after winning the battle the feat didn't increment that I'd used Alert.

The team was specifically: GLeia (r7 with ult), Night Trooper (g11), Drogan (r7, omi), R2 (r8), CRex (r7). Fought on the first golden node of the sector, which was G, B2, B1, Magna, Droideka. 

As far as I can see when looking at the ability "March of the Undying" I met the requirements and the Alert was actually working as intended in battle, as Night Trooper did assist with specials, so this must be a bug?
