Your leader has a granted ability, you use it to win the battle. Every time a non-leader takes a turn it reduces the cool-down. Suggestions are to use teams with TM trains like Imp Troops to get the cool-down quick, or use tanky toons that can soak up the damage and recover, maybe NS? One option for LS toons is to use JKL lead and have Jedi like JKR and Windy playing pass the TM.

That's an awful lot of wasted attempts to not read the modifiers. Seems like that one is on you. When I couldn't kill them the first time I checked their blue status thingies to see they couldn't die, and then before I went back in I read all the modifiers so I knew what to do.

It's in the battle's modifiers. You check those before you enter the squad selection screen.

I admire your optimism that everyone reads them.

I know they don't, because I normally don't either. But after my second battle (the first one I didn't live long enough for it to matter) when I realized they weren't dying, I realized that I needed to go back and read them.

Wasn't the same battle in one of the GL events?
