Discarded Doctrine Event always unavailable even with requirements met

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug I cannot participate in the Discarded Doctrine event. I meet all the requirements, however, it always says that the event is unavailable. I met the requirements many months ago (probably 4-6 months ago). I just assumed the event had not returned since then. However, I just discovered that the event is live now, and has been available on the 15th of the month for the past several months. Why can’t I earn shards?
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I don’t know, it should be working.

@CyaZen The event to unlock the Executor does not appear in the events tab. You need to access it through the Journey Guide on the day it is available. Then once unlocked, the Bonus Tier will appear in the Events page to earn extra shards.

Keep an eye on the Dev Information page for the March calendar which will have the date for the next event. I would imagine it will be published next week.

Keep an eye on the Dev Information page for the March calendar which will have the date for the next event. I would imagine it will be published next week.

So it is only available for one day, once per month, with no type of notification? I have to proactively search it out?

@CyaZen I received a couple of pop-ups in-game on the 15th about the event being active. I'm pretty sure the Bonus Tier has a countdown on it in the events tab 3-5 days before the event is live, even if you don't have Executor unlocked.

My recommendation to check the calendar was for your own reassurance and readiness.

@CyaZen I’m in the same boat. I’ve met all the requirements three mi this ago and I’ve never seen the event pop up. I login daily several times a day and participate in all events. What am I missing? Have you got a resolution?

Yes, it opens on the 15th of each month…you have to proactively go into the journey guide to complete it. It sucks, and I missed out on it for probably 3 months until I figured it out. Just set a calendar reminder or something. Once you complete the initial stages, it’ll appear monthly in the events. You only have to seek it out for the first u lock stages. Pretty crappy set up in my opinion.
