Dr. Aphra Journey Guide Event Tier 1 Unbeatable

How can you treat your player base this way. I spent months getting my requirements met and have now tried over 400 attempts at this tier. It’s absolutely ridiculous.  I worked my butt off to get here and now have to rely on luck to pass it. It’s absurd and disgusting. I’ve watched countless videos and read countless forums and they all say the same thing so I know im doing it right. I’ve met the requirements, I should not have to go significantly past that to beat it. I love this game but I’m about to delete it because of this bull crap. Get your crap together EA. 

The hell kinda response is that?? "It's highly rng based" yall suck at how you handle this game and treat your player base. Nothing should be "highly rng based" not for a battle where you recommend a level, abilities and mod settings which isn't even doable at that level.

I'm not taking Hondo to relic 8. That's just ridiculous. Hondo is already my strongest character and highest relic with Bastilla Shan and the rest being relic 5 and lower. I posted a reply with screenshot of my current mods equipped which were better than the ones in the original screenshot if you want to take a look and give me any suggestions. I don't have anything better than that but if you have any advice, I'm more than willing to consider anything at this point. All my slice/upgrade materials were spent on this set because it was already better than the other options available to me.

I'm the person having this problem. the other screenshots contain 2 mediocre variations of the 10+ different mod combinations I've tried. (I've tried every possible combination of mods I have) I've read several articles saying "the event is working as intended" etc. etc. but if this is true then the recommended and required sections of the event are incorrect. I have a set of mk6 mods all having about +15 speed secondaries and health/protection/offense/speed primaries, the zetas, and Hondo at relic 6 and I'm barely managing to get the protection off one character if I'm lucky and immediately getting crit for 300k if I'm unlucky. I've played this battle out hundreds of times over several days and have not once been able to get the protection off any character.

After several days of giving information to the in-game support chat, the closest I got to a solution was "have you tried turning it off and turning it back on?" 

direct quote from the support chat: "Thank you for providing the information. Just to confirm that Did you try to restart the game once and the device ?" (down to the exact letter) 

Below is the mod set I've had the best luck with, and I am still not getting even the slightest hint of victory. 

This is a notoriously hard challenge.  I did it with a Relic 8 Hondo, with mods increasing health, speed, and protection.  If you don’t have some gold, blue, or green mods added to him, borrow from your other characters until you get past the challenge.  Even with Relic 8, and super cool mods, it took me like 20 times to win.
