EA Unlink Button Bugged/Glitched - Error Code 9.0

Summarize your bug The newly added EA Unlink button in-game does not work at all, and when I try to use it, it gives me an error code of "9.0" (screenshot attached). I have gone through a multitude of EA Help Advisors for this issue and the majority of them seem to think it is impossible to unlink an EA account from the game (which is used to be as we all know -- but now it is not). As far as I have been told by a couple of them, there is a cooldown time specific to that EA Unlink button, and that I would have to wait to use it. This has been an ongoing issue for me for about a month and a half now. I am under the suspicion that the button is bugged for me, or perhaps the cooldown timer is bugged? I don't know truthfully, hence why I am here.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I fear that this bug is unique to me, as I have looked for similar issues around the web and have not found anything relevant to my issue!
