Error 9.0 – Account still linked to old Google after unlink

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my account that I cannot resolve.

My game account is linked to Google Play and also to my EA account. I am trying to access it from a different Google account, but I cannot.

I have already tried:

Confirmed my progress is safe

Linked my EA account

Unlinked Google Play in-game

Cleared cache and data

Reinstalled the game

Tried on another device/emulator

However, I still cannot access my account.

I receive the following errors:

“This account is already linked to a Google account”

Error code 9.0 when trying to import

It seems my account is still linked to the previous Google account on the server side, even after unlinking it in-game.

I have also contacted support multiple times but only received automated responses with no solution.
