Summarize your bug Every time I try to launch the game, I receive an error code 9.0 and forced to restart or contact EA help. I've done all the troubleshooting (e.g., reset connection, rebooted device, redownloaded game, cleared Safari cache, turned off cellular data and used wifi only) but nothing is changing. It started midday or early afternoon on 11/16.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It doesn't seem that any guildmates are having trouble, so it's seems local to my instance.

  • Thanks for the help! It seems to have resolved itself, but I'm not sure why. The game was trying to download something and that's where it seemed to get hung up. So I signed into game center on another device, which allowed it to download that package once, and I was able to access my game. I then double-checked my primary device and the game was past that initial download and launched normally (after not being able to launch for more than a day, including immediately before I tried it on the alternate device). So the problem has been resolved, but I'm not sure of the cause or if the solution was coincidental or something more.

@uofmmatt25Did you try to clear you local game cache? I don't see that listed as one of the things you tried. Even if you remove the game, a local game cache can still remain. Give that a shot.

  • The issue is back again today, but my "fix" must have been coincidental as I can't launch the app and am getting the same error on multiple devices now, which suggests that it's not my device, but my profile in the game. I have submitted a screen shot of the error through in-game help.
