Error Code 9

Regularly, but not always, I am trying to start a TW battle. I select my team and go into battle but instead I get the loading circle for awhile and then an error that requires a restart. After the restart my battle is deamed a loss and I can’t field that team anymore. I’ve actually lost TWs because I lost my best attacking teams this way. I reboot my phone and router, switch to mobile data, and even do a ping test when it occurs and my signal is strong. It’s not repeatable - it happens at random - although tonight it happened a few times in a row.

    Hello Lana. This happens every few days and has been for a really long time. I just happened to finally get frustrated enough to post about it.


    I initiate a fight and complete it just fine. Sometimes several in a row. Then seemingly randomly I start a fight, pick my team, then the app just spins until erroring out. I then lose the fight and the ability to attack with that team. While it’s hung, I’ve jumped out to a ping test and it seems to be fine - so I’m guessing there’s a sub second connection hiccup somewhere between me and your servers and it’s just not recovering. S**t happens, no problem, but defaulting those to a loss and taking my team out of action without actually letting them fight is a real bummer - especially when it happens 3x in a row with my strongest teams and my alliance loses the TB.

    Sorry to hear that. We could try some troubleshooting for the error message. There's some steps that target the connection side of things and can help to limit the drops in connection. What device do you play SWGOH on?

    Just happened again deploying platoon for TB. In this case I quit the app after waiting awhile for the spinning circle, and when I came back in the troops did deploy.
