Game crashes should not burn toons or advance battle counts

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Android Tablet
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? multiple
OS Version multiple
Ally Code: (Find it here: http://bit.ly/AllyCode ) 112-477-899
What type of issue do you have? Network/Connection
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Summarize your bug After entering a TW/GAC/TB/RAID battle, sometimes the game will encounter "an error that requires a restart". When this happens it incorrectly burns the toons and datacrons you deployed for the battle and also incorrectly advances the battle count. None of those things should happen on any internal error.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown, it appears to be random based on my experience and guild feedback.
Connection Type Wifi
Please select your region North America
Country USA

Most common (based on guild members combined experience) is that this happens either right at the start of a battle or right at the end. But can also happen anytime in the middle. The real issue is not the crash, it is that a crash should not burn toons or datacrons or advance battle count in TW (or GAC). Happens across Android and iOS, across OS versions, across all device types, across all connection types. Basically this is a design flaw.

That is not the issue. The issue is that when the game fails (regardless of the reason), it should not burn the toons or advance battle counts. The problem occurs with or without airplane mode, cell or wifi. Airplane mode is a red herring. THE CRASHES ARE NOT THE ISSUE. I accept that you will always have bugs in software but what you do about it is what matters. Burning the battle as if the player lost because your game crashes is the problem. It is a software design/quality issue.

@oprubninja777 Because the game only communicates to the servers at the start and the end of the battle, there is no way to distinguish the difference between a game crashing and someone force closing the game.

If they those battles did not count people would abuse the system like crazy.

It sucks but that's just the way it is.

Just for reference, every application on the planet is able to solve this issue. It used to happen in the 90's with Word Perfect as well.
